On 10th of August 2018, the Alpha Innovation Contest first session of the first round was successfully held at UWA Austin lecture theatre.
Dr Liang Fen, representative of the contest initiator (Australian Education and Migration Services & Alpha Incubation Group), announced the opening of the Alpha Innovation Contest 2018.

 

In the session 1 of the contest first round, there were 10 projects divided into two groups . The project type of group 1 is “Internet Software/Hardware Development” and group 2 is “Innovative Product/Technology”

Mr Rob Delane attended the event and delivered a speech. He congratulations on the successful held of the first round contest and wish all the contestants great success. 

 

The volunteer team members are UWA Ph.D students. They guided the contestants to wait at the rest area and managed the order of the contest.

 

All the presentations in session 1 were wonderful. The contestants were praised by the judges and guests.

Upcoming Events:
The Alpha Innovation Contest 2018 First Round Session 2 will be held on 13 Aug 2018 at Curtin Graduate School Of Business, 78 Murray St, Perth. People are welcome to attend the event.
There will be 9 project divided into two group as well. The topic of group 3 is “Medical and Health Care” and the group 4 is “Services”.

On the third day after end of the first round contest, the judge panel will announce the six winners of the first round to enter the final round.
The Alpha Innovation Contest 2018 Final Round will be held on 17th August 2018 at ECU Joondalup campus.
The top three winners of the contest will be judged. After that, the closing ceremony of the contest and also the opening ceremony of the AuSino Technology Innovation Centre will be held .
