Alpha Incubation Group brought with them three Australian project teams to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Sinosteel Cod International Youth Innovation Forum held by the Sinosteel Technology Incubator (Tianjin) on 29 October 2019 at the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Tianjin, China.

The event was hosted by the Management Committee, Tianjin Economic Development Zone and co-organized by the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau (Innovation Service Centre) of Tianjin Development Zone, Sinosteel Cod Incubator (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., and CNOOC Development Innovator Club (Tianjin Zhonghai Minghao Investment) Management Co., Ltd.
With the theme of “Mutual Integration and Dream Creation”, through a series of special activities, including roundtable forums, project roadshows, and innovative seminars, to promote the coordinated innovation and development of regional and large enterprises, and the convergence of cross-border innovation resources, to create a win-win atmosphere. More than 100 people attended the ceremony, including individual participants, media, and representatives of the entrepreneurial team and innovation groups.

After nearly two months of preparations, including event promotion, project collection, professional screening, launching ceremony, offline roadshow, project incubation, etc., The 3rd Sinosteel Cod International Youth Innovation Forum was successful held, project themes include: “new energy, new materials and new technologies; around the global collection of six major areas are: marine economy, clean technology, information technology, new materials, intelligent manufacturing and biomedicine. There are 167 domestic entrants and 28 overseas entrants registered, only 9 projects were selected for the final offline Forum.
After over two hours of project presentations and on-site selections, Alpha Incubation Group’s three projects won “the Science and Technology Team Award” and two “Innovative Star Award“.
